Narrow aisle racking is an efficient storage system that maximizes storage density by reducing aisle width. It is usually used with special forklifts (such as three-way forklifts and narrow aisle forklifts). It is suitable for warehouses with limited space but high throughput, such as food and beverage, fast-moving consumer goods, and manufacturing.
1. Core features of narrow aisle racking
(1) Extremely narrow aisle width- Traditional rack aisle: ≥3.5 meters (balanced forklift operation)
- Narrow aisle rack aisle: 1.6~2.0 meters (three-way forklift or narrow aisle forklift required)
- Storage density increased by 40%~60% (compared to ordinary beam racks)
(2) Strengthened rack structure
- The columns are denser to prevent deformation caused by forklift collision.
- Optional back net or beam reinforcements to improve stability.
(3) Dependence on special forklifts
